Jess & Monica from East Coast Creative Blog are back with more great ideas for your apartment décor! Today they show you just how easy it can be to spruce up regular old bar stools to fit your space perfectly.
Sometimes seating can be difficult in an apartment, which is why we love transitional seating. Anything you can move around and put away while not being used is a huge plus for small spaces. We found these bar stools at a local thrift store for just a few dollars and we just dressed them up. Here is what you’ll need to customize your own seating:
Items Needed:
- Bar Stools
- Spray Paint (whatever color you prefer)
- Staple Gun
- Fabric (whatever color/texture you prefer)
Upgrading these bar stools couldn’t be easier! We started by spray painting the bar stools the same color to give a unified look. We also picked up some thrifted rugs and fur to use for reupholstering the bar stools. As you can see, we simply stapled the fabric to the bottom of the stool. Bar stools are great, but typically aren’t very pretty. With just a few basic and inexpensive supplies, you can turn bland furniture into unique pieces that look custom made for your space!
