Sophie Plaza Apartments

Sophie Plaza Apartment’s management are money hungry. I went to install my WiFi, because unlike what they advertise they do not offer WiFi, and they charged an extra $50 to just use their cable port. So my $120 WiFi is now $170. They also only offer 1 parking spot per apartment so in the winter I have to park on the curb behind my girlfriend’s car and run a long extension cable to our electrical outlet. Tried to just dry my tent on our balcony and got a warning that we were violating our lease... agreement. They charge and insane rent for the 1980 style apartment scheme. This is classifies as "luxury" apartment, but it hasn't been updated since the '70's. Our "furnished" apartment has a broken dresser, broken couch, two broken dining room chairs, broken table. The broken couch is so old that it would be filled with bugs, if there were bugs here. None of the dishes are microwaveable and "furnished" doesn't include a broom, mop, or vacuum although the carpet is so old a vacuum would probably tear it up. Calling the management office is useless as they are angry... and combative. The parking lot is not secure and cars are being broken in to and stolen almost nightly. This is a great place no smoking so safe for kids nice people the services are really great. Only 2 down sides have to share washer and dryers and lay for the coins and you aren't allowed anything but fish and caged birds. But other than very spacey and can come furnished or unfurnished with a year lease you get free cable
