Fireside East Apartments

Stay away! This place has gone so downhill. We have lived here eight months and cannot wait for the next four months to pass. So many of the tenants are inconsiderate.. One of our neighbors has stolen from us, smokes right outside our patio and bedroom windows about four times every hour, is obnoxious and loud, and all the nearby neighbors cannot stand her because she is crazy, but management doesn't care and won't do anything about it because apparently they are guaranteed rent from the… government. The walls are thin. You can hear everything from whoever lives above you and around you. The majority of the people smoke cigarettes and the whole place reeks of it. So many people smoke pot on their patios/balconies and management doesn't care. Our water has been turned off for the majority of the day three times in the last month with no notice. When we called the office to find out when it will be turned back on, we were told it will happen when it happens. My whole family keeps getting bloody noses and we have bad allergies whenever we are here because there is something in these vents that is unhealthy. As soon as we leave we are fine. The popcorn ceiling keeps randomly falling off for no reason and we are worried about asbestos. Our laundry was recently shut down for days with no notice of it happening or when it would be working again. Our heat wasn't working for over a week and no one bothered to even address it until I called management three times. It still doesn't work properly because they hire crappy companies. A neighbor of ours had to leave because of a mice problem. They didn't seem to care or work to solve the problem. Any time we call the office on these issues, we are brushed off. Edd, the property manager, has been nothing less than great. Without getting personal, when I first moved here in 2018, a very traumatic event happened to me and I needed a safe place to live. Edd listened to all of my concerns, did everything he could to make me feel at home, feel safe and went above and beyond to make sure I was placed in an apartment that I felt safe in. Anytime theres a slight issue, it is handled immediately ie. water faucet leaking or garbage disposal acting weird. Edd… not only treats me with upmost respect and kindness, but he treats all his residents this way as well. I had to move out back in Aug 2019 and now I am back to live here again. I have been anticipating moving back to Old Town and living at Fireside East Apartments. It is clean and I feel safe here. Moved in here September of 2018, and it’s been amazing to say the least! Very peaceful residence, close to almost everything you need to be close to, and management has been accommodating and available whenever I need them to be. Edd, specifically, has been very helpful and reasonable with me on everything. Even discounting me for my renewal, which is awesoeme and shows they treat you well! Very much enjoy living here!

I have lived here 6 years and the location is perfect for my needs it is close to shopping, parks, feels safe walking the community.
Kevin our maintenance person does a fantastic job.
Edd the Manager listens to all concerns that I have noticed and he gets results.
Pest Control is not an issue and if there is issue it is taken care of immediately.
The landscaping is beautiful and our grass is very attractive and I only wish that our neighbors in the the other apartment communities would stop… allowing there pets to use it and not pick up.
The staff has to do this daily.
