Do not move here.
Things seemed great at first. There was a few minor things that needed to be fixed when I first moved in, leaking sink, bathtub, loose door jam, and a missed outlet cover. I wasn' t too bothered by that, but then. I first moved in May. At some point the AC went out and it took them over a week to fix it because the part they needed was discontinued and needed to be shipped in. Even then they were good about giving us notice and explaining the situation. I wasn't too bothered about that. Then I... got this leak in my bathroom coming out of the vent. I reported and then they announced the it was due to a roof leak because it was happening to alot of the tenants. They said they needed quotes to get the roof fixed and this took weeks to do. Meanwhile my maintenance requests kept being marked as complete. We went back and forth then they had a plumber look into it after the leak has stopped, my guess is, it's an AC leak and when they turned that off for the winter the leak stopped. So there was nothing they could do until the leak comes back. The ceiling in still damaged and there's dry wall that needs to be replaced. I say OK we will watch for the leak to come back and go from there. Meanwhile, it seems like every week the water gets turned off and most of the time we get notice, but there's been times when we have not. Again, water off the duck's back. All times I'm unable to be there for. My heater/ blower has also been out for 3 months. After convincing them the blower was broken, which took a while, they are fixing it tomorrow. All the outlets are loose so when I went to use a space heater, since I had no heater, it melted the outlet cover. They replaced the cover, but not without saying that normally this would be the tenant's responsibility to replace, but we will do it this one time. They painted the stairs a couple months ago, and it rained and all the paint melted off and it became very slippery. Unfortunately, my husband was injured because of this. He's ok now but my issue is that the stairs have not been fixed or even just some grib tape would make a huge difference. While there was some communication, there just wasn't any solutions. This place needs a remodle not a coat of paint. The pool is always green and needs to be replastered and the washers and dryers onsite don't work well and are outdated.I felt like I was being honest and fair. I'll be moving out soon, but I wish my stay here was less stressful that what is was.
