Finding a New Apartment Takes Time & Research

Follow these helpful tips to discover the right home for you!

[1] Take photos of the apartment interior/exterior, the view and leasing staff to remind you of each apartment. After touring several communities, you might have a difficult time keeping them separate in your mind!

[2] Use the ForRent.com Apartment Hunting Checklist. Rate each community based on your search criteria to help you assess & make your final decision.

[3] Calculate how much you can comfortably pay each month. Rent should be approximately 25% of your gross income.

[4] Tour a maximum of five communities in a day in your search. Any more than that and you’ll probably feel overwhelmed!
