Aside from spectacular restaurants, Dallas is the home to many boutiques. We have everything from affordable, to Vogue-worthy styles, in this great city. There is a store for every budget and style. These aren’t nearly all of the boutiques in Dallas, but a handful that you should absolutely know about! Time to get your shop on.
Tootsies
This chic full-line boutique in Highland Park has a range of beautiful designer pieces for the brand-aware shopper. You will most certainly find high-end clothing here! If you live in Houston or Atlanta, you may even be familiar with their other two locations. They carry everything from 3.1 Philip Lim to Yigal Azrouel, and have the full collections. You won’t find just one or two pieces from a designer here! Tootsies is also very active in their home cities as a sponsor for many events, and supporter of local and national charities.
Milk & Honey
Perhaps you’re looking for more affordable threads. If you cruise down Henderson Avenue, you will find Milk & Honey. While also chic, the vibe of this boutique is bohemian with a dash of glam. This boutique has several pieces that will give you the designer look for less. No breaking the bank this month! The owner of Milk & Honey is also owner of the Highland Park boutique, Lion & Witch, which has a much edgier and glamorous aesthetic. Find even more looks just less than 10 minutes away from the other.
Flirt Boutique
In West Village, Flirt Boutique has all the trendy pieces that are Instagram-worthy. No matter if you’re looking for clothes to hang out in, or dress up for a night out, they have you covered. This boutique is also very affordable if you’re trying to save money for rent, but still need a cute outfit. Find casual statement sweaters and chic layers at this spot. It will feel like raiding your favorite style blogger’s personal closet! There is also a Flirt location in Fort Worth.
Indigo 1745
Tucked away in the quiet Bishop Arts District, Indigo 1745 is a Dallas best-kept secret. Kill two birds with one stone at this unique boutique — they offer men’s and women’s clothing. Named a “Best of Big D Nominee”, you are bound to find statement pieces that not many others will have. Indigo 1745 is definitely one to frequent because the hottest pieces can sell out quickly.
Traffic LA
If you are renting downtown, Traffic LA is just a hop, skip, and a jump away from you! The concept was born in Los Angeles where there is a men’s and women’s boutique located at the Beverly Center. In Dallas, this boutique is next door neighbors with The Joule hotel on Main Street. The selection features emerging and established designers such as DSQUARED2, Comme Des Garçons, MM6 Maison Margiela, and Vivienne Westwood.
Forty Five Ten
Across the street from Traffic LA is the new Forty Five Ten location. For 16 years, they have been located in Highland Park but last month, something completely new has been brought to downtown Dallas. Walking up to this beautifully massive four-level boutique on Main Street will make you feel like you’re in New York City. There is a large, open valet driveway on the Elm Street entrance for an experience carefree of parking. If you plan on shopping, get ready to spend some serious money here! Forty Five Ten carries designers such as Chanel, Moschino, Chloé, and many more. However, there are quite a few chic affordable gems including home decor, beauty, and fragrances. Soon, you will even be able to dine and lounge here, too!
