  1. Choose colorful stools and place them next to a white counter or island to make the color pop!
  2. Paint each of your chairs a different color. Spray paint makes this job very easy and very fast.
  3. Paint your table a bold color, such as yellow, red or turquoise.
  4. If you have open shelving, switch out your white dishes with colored dishes.
  5. Need to fill up an empty wall? Think kitchen-themed artwork. If you have basic knowledge of graphic design, you can make your own art.
  6. Give your utensils a color boost and display them in jars on your counter.
  7. Add color to the back of your cabinets in a contrasting color. Can’t or don’t want to paint them? You can dress them up with contact paper using this technique.
  8. Switch out your current lighting with a bright pendant light or chandelier.
  9. If you have a window seat, add pillows in summer hues.
