5 Tips on Organizing Beauty Products in a Small Space

We’ve all dealt with the teeny tiny bathroom, cluttered countertops and an overall lack of storage. Nobody wants to get ready for the day while constantly knocking every bottle in sight off the counters. Let’s talk about a few ways we can tame the clutter without getting rid of our much-needed beauty products! Hidden Storage First up on today’s list is to hide some of your smaller items. The small things are what take up all the drawer space, leaving you no room for the bigger items. Take some of those small items and use them in your decorations. For example, this mini drawer can hide things such as fingernail polish, cotton balls or Q-tips. This also helps take advantage of vertical storage and just keeps these little things from ending up all over your counter space. Bathroom Hidden Storage Take Advantage of Those Drawers Drawers are the #1 place we like to keep things in our bathroom; they’re hidden, built in and easily accessible. Drawers are also the things that become the most unorganized in our bathroom because of how easy it is to just throw things in there. By adding baskets to your drawers, you can keep things in their assigned place and not have any wasted space. This way, you can also see everything you need at once without digging around!

In Plain Sight Sometimes we just need to put things on the counter when we are running low on space, but keeping those things together rather than leaving them sprawled out across the counter is where we can start to get those items organized. One of my favorite things to do is just drop those items into a mason jar. The jar can easily be moved to a different spot if necessary, without having to pick up five little items. Choose some of your beauty products that can double as décor because these will be on display. Bathroom Storage Mason Jar Hang Your Hair Tools Adding a few pieces of hardware on the inside of your bathroom cabinet doors can eliminate those bulky items and free up some much-needed space. You can often find items to order online, like this one from Organize-It, that only require a few screws (or an over-the-door hanger), and you can get that hair dryer, straightener and curling iron into a space that is otherwise left empty! Even if you don’t necessarily use those things in the shower, by adding a shower caddy you are essentially just adding shelves — except these are out of the way.
