I am Batman. Or at least I was once Batman a long time ago for Halloween. Whether you are a fan of the older, quirkier Batman or the new and improved super serious, low voice Batman, the Avalon Danvers apartments in Danvers, MA should definitely spark your interest. Just look at it, it screams Batman, and it’s not just me who thinks so.
The newly renovated Avalon Danvers apartments used to go by a different name. This beautiful community used to be called the Danvers State Hospital, aka, The Danvers Lunatic Asylum. It was built in 1874 and opened in 1878 as a self-contained psychiatric hospital. You might be asking yourself, “This is spooky and all, but what does this have to do with Batman?” And to that I answer, fair question. In the world of Batman, there are many, many criminals and bad guys and most of them are considered psychotic. Well once Batman has stopped them from ruining Gotham City, where do the psychotic bad guys go? Well, they are sent to Arkham Asylum, of course. As it turns out, the Arkham Asylum was based off of; you guessed it, the Danvers State Hospital. The architecture, appearance and history are perfect for the world of Batman.
History aside, these new renovated apartments are absolutely beautiful. They have done an amazing job refinishing the entire building to create a modern, fresh feel. They offer 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments for rent with several different floor plans for each variety that range between $1,000-2,160. The apartments feature washer and dryers in all units, high end appliances, an outdoor pool, BBQ and picnic areas, billiards, balconies/patios, a fitness center and an indoor basketball court just to name a few. Additionally, your pets are more than welcome as they allow 2 pets per home, which is fantastic.
If you are a Batman fanatic or simply an adventure seeker, the Avalon Danvers apartments and its interesting history is right up your alley. If you feel a bit hesitant about living there (which is completely reasonable), I challenge you to look at the building for what it is now, not what it was. It truly is a gorgeous building, with a ton of open land and modern amenities. So the next question is, would you make the newly renovated Avalon Danvers your new home?
