I am absolutely loving the current fashion trends right now!
Buffalo check and plaids have been around for a while and are always a classic. But recently, they have experienced a massive popularity spike, and I couldn’t be happier!
There are so many ways to sport plaids and checks. I love seeing vests and jackets that are in these patterns, as well as skirts, scarves and other accessories.
The most common is a shirt, ranging from flannel to regular cotton, ¾-length to regular length, and button down to polo style.
I personally prefer a button down so I can button it up or layer with a tee underneath and leave it unbuttoned in the spring.
I am huge on layering pieces in the winter, especially since the weather is constantly changing throughout the day.
Vests are my main go-to when I start to layer. They keep you warm enough during these cold winter days, but they aren’t super bulky and allow you to be able to move.
I personally wear vests on days that I have a ton of errands and am in and out of my car a lot.
And who could go wrong with a fur vest? I am digging the leather belt around it!
Skinny leg jeans are my main go-to pants, especially when I am wearing tall boots. What is great about them now is the great stretch they have, and once you find a pair that doesn’t stretch out in the knees too much, they will be your new best friend!
Tall leather boots are still in, and this pair that laces all the way up will definitely turn heads. They are comfy enough for everyday wear but can also be dressed up.
Druzy jewelry is hot, hot, hot right now. And it definitely makes a huge statement!
It’s super versatile and can be worn alone with a T-shirt or paired up with other great pieces and your favorite lbd to make a statement.
Gold accessories only grow in popularity daily, and these three pieces are items you can keep around for years to come! All are great to wear alone or mix together; they have a great neutral base.
And finally, bags. I can’t get enough of this one.
I always stick to brown or black when considering handbags (unless I find them for a steal!) so I can keep them for years and they will remain timeless.
