Rent Prices

Rent Prices

I am planning to move and live in Chicago. I just want to make sure regarding the rent prices mentioned online. Are the prices listed for 1 year of rent or monthly (meaning when you mention 1 bd is $1500, is that the price paid per year or per month)?  The prices listed on ForRent.com are the monthly cost to rent an apartment, so if a one-bedroom is listed for $1000, that is how much you’d pay each month that you live there (and typically, leases are a year-long commitment).
