Halloween is almost upon us! Typically trick or treating in an apartment community is not commonplace. That doesn’t have to be the case! Here are some tips to have a spookingly good time without leaving the neighborhood.
Spread the word! Ask your property manager if you can put up a notice a week before Halloween informing fellow renters you’ll be participating in trick-or-treating this year. Leave your contact info in case someone wants to get in touch. Be sure to put trick-or-treating hours on your notice so parents know when to make the candy-collecting rounds.
Put Halloween decorations on your door! Not only is this fun, it lets trick-or-treaters know you’re open for business!
Also if your apartment has a light at the door, be sure to turn it on so trick-or-treaters know you’re home.
That about wraps trick-or-treating apartment etiquette up! Have a safe, fun and happy Halloween!
