However, what he should’ve said was, “I became an adult the way you fall asleep: slowly, and then all at once.” Because one minute your biggest issue in life is whether or not your crush is going to ask you to the dance and then the next moment you’re trying to remember if you paid your cellphone bill or not.
Adulting is hard. Here are some ways to tell if you’ve entered the land we call, “Adulthood.”

Remember when all you wanted to do was go out downtown with friends and get crazy? All you want now is your bed and Netflix. No shame.
Kids look at you and think you have your life together because they think you’re an adult. You’re an “old person” now. *cries internally*
