3 Color Trends You'll See This Fall

Home Decor

Let’s face it, Fall is already on our minds! Whether it’s cooler evenings, darker mornings, or a few leaves turning yellow, we can’t help but be a little excited for all that comes with the season. Hello, pumpkin spice everything! But the smell of pumpkin spice isn’t the only thing that trends in Fall. Certain colors do, too. Each year, new colors take the trend-setting stage. Here are three color combo trends you’ll see a lot of this Fall!
Plum and Gold/Copper
Plum has been known as a more regal color and, of course, with the mix of gold or copper, the combo looks extra regal. In the past year, plum has started to show up more and more in wedding theme colors, but has transferred to interior decor as well. It’s a warmer tone and, paired with a warmer metallic color, it makes the decor feel fancy yet cozy at the same time.
Plum and Copper Decor Ideas
The easiest way to add these trending colors is with throws. Whether they are pillows or blankets, it’s incredibly affordable and easy to bring them into your decor.

You can kick it up a notch by upcycling a dresser or table. Paint it with the plum colors of your choice and use gold colored or copper hardware for the accents.

The most common way that these colors will appear is via the dinner table. A tablescape is another incredibly easy way to add trending colors to your decor.

For an even more temporary solution, use gorgeous plum and burgundy colors for your centerpiece flowers. A nice gold mercury vase will really help with the regal look and pop of color.

Deep Blue and Copper/Bronze
Deep Blue and Copper Decor Ideas
The deep blue paired with copper or bronze sort of resembles a colonial regal-ness. This sort of colonial color combo is making quite the comeback. If you can’t paint the walls (you may not be able to do this in your apartment), a large deep blue canvas can create the same feel.

Of course, there is the upcycled option for incorporating this colonial regal combo. Like the plum dresser, this dresser has also been updated and copper hardware was used to add the metallic touch.

Again, a tablescape is one of the easiest ways to get the trending look. This tablescape does just that, going all out with the deep blue tablecloth.
