Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and today we have five simple Thanksgiving centerpieces for you. These ideas can be made in just minutes and are perfect for those who are not even crafty! Get inspired by the ideas below and make your own Thanksgiving centerpiece. The centerpiece is something you can make ahead of time so it’s ready to go well before the hectic holiday rush.
The first element that will look great in your Thanksgiving centerpiece is candles. You probably already have some white candles on hand in your home. You can wrap those with fall-colored papers to make them perfect for Thanksgiving. Here we cut out leaves and other fall shapes from the paper before wrapping them around the candles. This works best with battery-operated candles, which we have used here. If you use regular candles, please be wary of burning any candles that are wrapped in paper. Candles like these can become a Thanksgiving centerpiece all on their own with just a few other elements.
Another idea for candles is to use pillar candles in wine bottles. This is a look that’s easy to pull together in minutes. Here we did a white and gold paint treatment on the bottles before adding the candles. Pairing those with a gold tablescape makes an eclectic Thanksgiving centerpiece that will look great on your holiday table. Plus, you may have wine bottles in your recycling bin right now.
You can also bring natural elements into your Thanksgiving centerpiece. Wheat, fruit, pumpkins and more can be perfect on your Thanksgiving table. Here we added wheat to a vase full of candy corn. Mini pumpkins and more are scattered around a plate on the bottom. We used artificial fruits and leaves, but the real thing will work great as well. Then you can just eat your centerpiece after the holiday is over.
Here is another great wheat centerpiece you can try. We wrapped the bottom of the wheat with burlap in this case so it is freestanding. It can be surrounded with any fall décor you have on hand. The center of your table will look amazing even if you just pull fall décor from around your home and from the bins in your attic.
A bowl of random home décor objects can even work as a Thanksgiving centerpiece. Here we used a bowl of similarly colored objects, then added a couple of paper feathers with Thanksgiving sayings on the top. This is a super easy centerpiece that can literally be made in seconds with things you have on hand at home.
