Home décor is so personal. You should surround yourself with things that scream your personality, especially in a rental. Since the property isn’t yours, you should have more incentive to make your space your own.
I love the boho vibe. It’s been so trendy lately. All over Pinterest you can find boho yarn hangings and macramé. I personally love the dream-catcher look. It gives a free-spirit atmosphere to your space. It’s playful, yet you can make your dream catcher as chic as you’d like. Not only does it give a cool Native American element to your home décor, you can also make it as personal as you want. Dreams are as personal as you can get.

I’m also crazy about the monochromatic look, so I decided to go that route for my dream catcher. If you’re more into color, add peacock feathers and other bright colors to your catcher. There are so many different types of feathers at the major craft retailers; only your imagination is your limit. So go for it. Let your dreams be as bold as you want to take them!
Since I’m not a weaver, I thought I’d cheat my way through the woven center part of the dream catcher by adding sticks instead. I love this because, along with the feathers, it brings in the natural element to the design.
As I was designing this dream catcher, it shifted as I went along. At first I was going to only use one stick in the center, then I felt like it needed more. I also originally used a lot of beads. I took off a lot of them because I felt like it was getting too cluttered. Then I decided to add a different texture of feathers to fill the space on the bottom a bit more. So, honestly, let your spirit fly when making this.
