I am a HUGE college football fan and get giddy when fall rolls around and the season begins. When it’s game day, I proudly strut my team’s logo around town and gather with family and friends to watch the game. Yummy food is always involved, as well as constant yelling and cheering at the television. I love hosting these Saturday parties and have learned how to decorate for these frequent game days on a small budget, for small spaces and with little effort. I am excited to share what tips I have garnered over the years!
The first thing I recommend when hosting a weekly party in the same theme is to re-use your decorations. I typically make or buy all my decorations at the beginning of the season and rotate pieces in and out for each party. I love using paper decor as it is inexpensive, accessible, requires little space to store and can easily be replaced if broken or ruined. Printables are my go-to paper decor not only because I design them, but because I love how one printable party can bring the whole theme together. From the banner to the cupcake toppers to the drink labels, everything matches. And putting a whole party together is as easy as sending a file to your printer. You don’t have to run to five different stores to find decor that matches your theme and colors.
In my love for both printables and football, I have designed a printable football party pack for all the ForRent.com readers! Let me go through each piece and show you how to assemble them.

Download your printable pack FOOTBALL DECORATIONS HERE.
-
Print the file on 110 lb, White Glossy Cardstock.
-
Cut the file with scissors.
Page 1: The first page in the collection are Black Flags that can create either a garland or party flags. Once the page of flags are cut out, you can sew through each piece making a garland or string a ribbon through each flag, creating the same effect. You can also hot glue each flag to a party straw or dowel creating individual party flags.
Page 2: The Goalposts are intended to be cupcake toppers, but can be used for anything! Place them in a cupcake or other party food for a fun accent to your football party.
Pages 3-5: The Yard Pennant Flags are my favorite! After each piece is cut out, sew or string a ribbon through the top portion of the flags to make a football field-like garland. It makes a huge statement and looks fantastic over the food or dessert table.
Page 6: The Football Decals can be used any number of ways. I used them to create a garland, but they work great for food labels, name tags or pieces of a get-to-know you game as well. Just cut and use as you please!
Page 7: The Drink Labels are a great fix to those ugly water, juice or soda bottle wrappers. Just cut and tape around the water or juice bottle and you have a color-popping addition to your table spread.
