Wind chimes are a pretty addition to any front porch or garden. Wind chimes can even be placed inside the home for a lively decoration. It is easy to make your own wind chime, and it can be a fun craft that the whole family will enjoy.
In order to make a traditional chime, all that you need to do is find something flat as a holding surface. A flat piece of scrap wood or metal works perfectly for this.
1. Drill as many holes as you’d like through the flat object.
2. Run a string or wire through the assortment of holes you’ve got.
3. Attach heavy wooden or metal pieces at the ends of each piece of string.
Now you have your very own wind chime! It is an easy project to complete and can even be given as a gift. Try this do-it-yourself project on your next craft day!
