Christmas is just around the corner and you already have a guest list a mile long. People will be at your house at any moment. And if you are anything like me, you have started panicking because the house is NOT ready. Not at all. I love quick and easy projects that I can whip up to make a lasting impression without putting myself into a stressed out frenzy. Today I have some a super simple and affordable way to help dress up your table with these DIY Christmas Chair Wreaths.
I always have big plans to have a beautiful tablescape, but sometimes, there just isn’t room with all that food. If you are having guests over, chances are you will be squeezing a few extra people around your table, so this is a fantastic way to still bring Christmas to your table without taking up that precious room where you will soon be laughing and eating with your closest friends and family!
You will only need a few supplies from the craft store:
– Mini Wreath
– Ribbon of Choice
– Christmas Stems of choice
These little mini wreaths are adorable, but you will need to fluff them up like you do your Christmas tree or perhaps how you do your garland. Then we are just literally going to tie it on to the back of a chair. Simple, quick, and easy!
I tied mine just like a you would a shoe, make sure it’s centered and tight, then make your bunny ears and tie a bow ; ) If you want to get fancy, go for it… add some extra loops or go fluffy. Try using mesh for a more modern and glamorous look. There are so many ribbon choices out there!
Then I just took a Christmas stem I had and snipped off a few of the gold beads with wire cutters and stuck it right into the bow. This just brought a little something extra to that bow! If you want you can add these in all around the wreath or glue mini Christmas balls to the wreath. There are just so many ways to change this up to fit your decor style!
Within five minutes you will have cute chair decorations and can get back to cooking all that delicious food!
