Who doesn’t love a good sandwich for lunch, dinner, or even breakfast? Few things feel as complete as a sandwich and a side to satisfy your darkest cravings. Recently, sandwiches have gone well beyond the classic turkey, cheese, and white bread and have transcended into a real art. And although the gourmet options are truly one of a kind, we still love the classics just the same. No matter what your sandwich preferences are, if you’re in the Atlanta area you’ll definitely find a few hop spots. Victory Sandwich Bar
With two different locations in the Atlanta area, Victory Sandwich Bar features an eclectic menu featuring a variety of salads, snacks, and (of course) sandwiches. Open late most nights, you’ll find classics like the Castro (similar to a cuban) or the Mile High Club (featuring chicken, bacon, ham, avocado, fontina and dijon). They also offer wide range of cocktails, beers, and their famous coke-slushies!
Little Star Provisions
A part of the bigger restaurant empire – Star Provisions, Little Star is a look into Anne’s Quatrano’s culinary world. Their classic sandwiches like the prosciutto baguette and the grilled cheese are totally down to business without any fancy names. Open six days a week until 8PM, you’ll also find fresh bowls and salads for a balanced meal.
The General Muir
Inspired by classic New York Jewish Deli food, The General Muir honors traditions like smoking pastrami in-house and hand rolling bagels. Their deli features favorites like smoked salmon, smoked trout salad and their pastrami. Open early Monday through Sunday, this is the perfect place to pick up a spread the whole family will enjoy!
El Super Pan
With house-made bread and their innovative takes on Latino classics, El Super Pan boasts bold flavors and delicious combinations. Sandwiches like the Smoked Tofu Bun and Pork Belly Bun are served all day. Make you sandwich a super combo for $3.50 extra and enjoy a beverage, chips and a cookie drop.
Reuben’s Deli
Reuben’s has been voted one of the Top 10 Deli’s in the US, as well as the best deli in Atlanta – so you know they’re taking care of you.
