Aloha! We might not be able to instantly transfer ourselves to a tiki bar whenever we want, but we can whip up a fruity, tropical concoction right in our own kitchens (no matter how small!). I’m sharing my favorite tiki drink with you, and it’s perfect for summer pool parties too!
I call it the Tiki Sunrise because it fades from red to orange and yellow! Another reason it’s my fave? It’s easy to make! This is key if you don’t have a lot of time or want to make a big batch! Also, you can make it and keep it chilled in your refrigerator until it’s time to sip away! Note: Just add the grenadine right before serving for that fancy sunset look!

Here’s a quick glance at the ingredients, which I find helpful in recipes because it can help you spot them when grocery shopping! You might already have many of these in your refrigerator! The grenadine is truly the “magic” in this cocktail because it gives that gorgeous ombre color to your Tiki Sunrise!

If you prefer your Tiki Sunrise frozen, go right ahead! I recommend adding a second tablespoon of cream of coconut (along with a cup of ice) because it makes it extra creamy when frozen. Add in a fancy tropical straw and you’ll feel like you’re sitting on the island beaches!
