A perfect way to celebrate the holiday season is to throw a cookie exchange party. I’m here with free printables and ideas to make your party easy and stress-free. Simply host your get-together with friends who each bring three dozen cookies and exchange your goodies at the party so everyone goes home with a cookie assortment. This is the perfect way to gather friends for laughs and leave with your holiday baking complete.
Start by sending everyone an invitation and recipe card. If you do not have a copy machine handy, be sure to send each invitee enough recipe cards to hand out at the party. Trust me, you will want the recipes for the fabulous cookie creations your friends come up with. You can print the invitation (two to a sheet) by clicking the image below and saving.

Then print as many copies of the recipe card below as you need (again, two to a sheet). I recommend printing invitations and cards on white cardstock for some extra weight. These will need extra-large envelopes if you are going to send them in the mail, so plan accordingly.

Trim the invitations and recipe cards to size. The easiest way to do this is with a paper trimmer. However, you can use a ruler and a pair of scissors, too; just be sure to cut straight.
All that is left is to fill out the invitations and pop them in the mail with the blank recipe cards. Your invitees will fill out the recipe card with their best cookie recipe and bring their three dozen cookies.
Another tip for your party is to be sure to supply some method for sending the cookies home with your guests. Small kraft paper bags can be easily decorated for the occasion with stickers or other embellishments. These will allow your guests to keep their cookies separate while transporting home. You can also supply a stapler if they would like to keep the recipe together with the bag of cookies for reference.
Be sure to set a festive table for your holiday cookie exchange party. A fun tablecloth and your best dishes will help set the mood for an amazing party.
