I loooove desserts! I can’t get enough of them. Even when I am full after dinner, there is always room for dessert. Red velvet cupcakes are one of my favorite desserts, and I usually prefer them very moist. I have always wanted to try out cupcakes in a jar, and recently, the perfect opportunity presented itself when I hosted a few friends over at my home. I concluded this would be a great time to create these cupcakes as a parting gift. I chose Betty Crocker’s recipe, as it was pretty simple and easy to make. I went the “Cake in a Box” route, but feel free to make the cupcakes from scratch if you choose to! I made the recipe even simpler (as I was running out of time) by skipping on making the frosting, and bought a ready-to-use frosting mix. See the simple ingredients below:

These can be used as fun favors for when you host parties in your apartment or when you are having a pool party and need an easy-to-eat dessert by the pool.
EATING TIP: Warm the cupcakes (without the lids, of course) before you enjoy!
These cupcakes in a jar were so easy to make and the creativity options are endless! I hope you get to make some soon. It was so much fun and they tasted so good that I will be making them again in the near future!
