Valentine’s Day Truffle Cakes

Food and Entertaining

ForRent.com is excited to partner up once again, with Courtney from Pizzazzerie to bring you this delicious truffle cake just in time for Valentine’s Day!

Hi, everyone! I’m so thrilled to be swinging back by ForRent.com for some sweet Valentine’s Day ideas! First up is a recipe for a delicious, decadent truffle cake that you can decorate however you like for your loved ones (or party guests!).
Making these truffle cakes is super easy. You’re just a few steps away from a total decadent truffle cake.
STEP 1: On a book-signing trip to Denver, I picked up this fabulous semi-dome pan from Sur La Table. Here is a link to purchase it on Amazon. However, don’t fret if you’d rather not buy the pan. My swap-out is baking very tall cupcakes and cutting off the “rounded dome” part to create a similar look!

STEP 2: Fill pan with your chocolate cake batter. Now, you can go to town here because you could stir in chocolate chips or place candy bars, cake balls, or other goodies down into the batter! Pick your favorite chocolate cake recipe or use this easy, jazzed-up recipe.
