Maintenance
We’ve been here for a few months now but within that time we’ve had multiple instances we’ve had to put in a request for maintenance. They were fast at fixing, efficient, and overall happy with how they treated me. Thank you, Jose for your service.

UNSAFE
They put residents into unsafe environments. Opened my front door and was showered with sparks from welding. No safety barriers, no warning signs, no email/notification about the work that was being done NOTHING. And don't' bother trying to call the office they NEVER ANSWER the phone. And then to be harassed by the maintenance worker when I asked them to stop.

My New Home
I recently moved to Alameda from Ireland and the folks at Ballena Village have made the leasing and move in process such a pleasure! Hazel and Courtney in the leasing office answered any questions I had and helped with any move in queries. Also, the maintenance staff have been great in addressing any minor issues I had after move it. I have only been here a month but I already feel welcome and at home.

Courtney, the leasing team and the maintenance team are amazing!
I have been at Ballena Village apartments for over a year now. No words can describe how grateful I am to live here. These apartments are genuinely homes! You feel safe at all times! You feel at home from the moment you tour to when you sign your lease. I had the pleasure of interacting with everyone. I would like to first shout-out Courtney. Courtney from the start made the process seamless. She took the time to explain everything and answer all of my questions. She truly cares about everyone’s... needs and tries to to help no matter the situations. She never once made me feel like a bother, rather welcomed and like family. She was/is absolutely phenomenal! The maintenance personal are absolutely spectacular, they come immediately, never say no, and always solve a problem correctly the first time. Jose, Mario and the ENTIRE team are exceptional! Also, I would love to shout-out the ENTIRE leasing team Courtney, Hazel, Ashley, Sarah, plus the maintenance team because they treat you like family. They are like friends who truly care. Me not being from the bay, I treasure having such a friendly, professional, caring, welcoming environment. I walk in to the leasing office happy and always leave happy. Plus the perks of the bay trail, the apartment’s amenities and the Pier 29 restaurant are amazing! I just wanted to share my personal experiences. I am absolutely genuinely grateful to call Ballena village apartments to this day my home!
