The nitty-gritty
Here is some information thay REALLY matters; for any "future prospective residents."
1. Unless you live UPSTAIRS in a 1 bedroom apartment, you will live in a unit where EVERY WALL is a "common wall." The townhomes are all divided into 3/4 units within ONE Building... meaning, that if you have a unit where its located in the middle of the building, your entire units will be covered with common walls. And yes... you can hear your neighbors the majority of the time.
2. The parking garage is... underground (directly below your unit, to be exact.) The garage has all this piping that runs through the entire ceilong space of thay garage. These pipes contain some sort of water/liquid that will CONSISTENTLY LEAK! Yes, to include leaks directly above your parking spaces. This "liquid" WILL damage your car's paint. Management cannot do anything about it because apparently its considered "Property of Anaheim Fire Dept."
3. This is the only complex (that I know of) with a 24 hour laundry facility. It has no controlled access to get into the laundry rooms (2 laundry rooms). This consists of 8 washers and 8 dryers for the entire complex. Early morning or late nights are the only times where you will find available washers for you to use.
4. If you have little kids, be aware that there absolutely no "play spaces" within the complex. Meaning, no playing ball outside, no bike riding, power wheel riding, skateboarding, rollerblading, or running. I hear people running every day, and it sounds like a large train is passing by, just from all the "thudding."
5. Not very ADA accessible...
6. All rent payments must be "dropped" at the manager's office. There are NO online payment options.
7. Same goes for your water bill
8. Homeless people are ALWAYS at the complex dumpsters. Kinda scary when you through out your trash and some homeless guy pops up from inside to yell at you for hitting them with your trash
9. They shut your water off OFTEN for "repairs."
These are things "I" would love to be informed about before making a decision on an apartment.
