Avalon Glendale

Horrible move in process. They didn’t provide any instructions for the move in. I arranged for my furniture to be delivered on move in day but the leasing office refused to let the movers in unless I jumped through several hoops that they failed to inform me about BEFORE move in day. I already deeply regret leasing with this company. Very disorganized and unprofessional.

If you love bugs , this is the place for you. Plenty inside the apartment. I never had issues with being Bitten. Ever since we moved here, almost every other day there are bites on my feet.
The staff is very friendly, two ladies that work in the front office are super sweat. Until you want to move out. Than they show their true colors. I had already paid rent until the end of the month (23 days). I was on month to month paying way more that what was offered, I told them I finally found a place... I liked. So they told me I had to give a written 30 day notice, and pay extra for the remaining days. I lost out on the other apartment. Thank you very much. You guys are greedy people with no understanding. Paid over 2 years , on time every time and you guys do me like this.

Other complaints: Walls are very thin,.Too many animals and smell of animal waste. If there are any neighbors above you , good luck sleeping with the noise. Pool are is usually full of kids and noises.

I loved living here while renting in Glendale. It's clean, neighbors were (mostly) considerate, and a great pet-friendly option. The guys in the office were great. Tri and Dave helped me with anything I needed, were kind to my dog, and were friends. Brent and the maintenance crew worked so hard to keep the place running. If I did need something fixed they took care of it. The rent increases weren't fun but I never felt like I'd get a better deal elsewhere. And move-out was a breeze! I have been a resident at Avalon Glendale for coming up on 2 years now. I have nothing but great things to say about to this place.

The community, office staff, residents, everything is great here. Maintenance work orders are done in time, the community is always nice and clean people clean after their pets and it's on one of the better sides of the 134 with not too much traffic.

There is a Ralphs located right across the street for any type of grocery shopping and they also just opened... up a Walgreens and Trader Joes a few blocks up.

The only reason I'm not giving this place 5 out of 5 stars is because sometimes the gym equipment inoperable and to me that's very important.

Also now with all this construction and apartment complexes opening up here in Glendale, Avalon is priced nicely and competitively. Read More
