The Heritage at Boca Raton

We were helping our son and room-mates get into an apartment. Agent didn't explain forms, didn't follow up, pressured us to sign but didn't take the time to make sure what we asked for was actually on the lease agreement. Beware.... cost us a lot of time and frustration.

My experience at this apartment complex has been terrible from the start. The unit wasn’t even cleaned before I moved in, and I was left with a long list of repairs—some basic, some more complex. Despite repeated follow-ups, it took over two weeks for anyone to start addressing the issues, and even now, only part of the list has been completed. The only good thing was the layout of the apartments, because the building is very old, with poor maintenance and management, elevators that stop working frequently, there was a leak in the kitchen ceiling that took almost a year to repair, the appliances are very old, noisy and break frequently, the blinds that make up the apartment are old and break easily, the parking spot is outside and in many cases far from the entrance of the building.
There is no exclusive closed and protected... compartment for purchases delivered, unless they come through Amazon, and deliveries from other sources are thrown on the floor at the entrance of the building and with wide access to any delivery person.
They debited amounts related to 3 months for water and sewage on return of my deposit, without any explanation even though I have paid these fees since the first month of the lease and asked for an explanation that never came.

It's a nice community which has a lot of pros. The location is good as it is right next to downtown boca, and the property itself has a lot of places you could go to such as the clubhouse, pool, and sauna. The only downside is that service takes some time to get here, and the apartment itself is a little old, but other than that it's just your average community.

Wonderful living experience, top-notch. If you are looking for the feel of a 5-star hotel with a prime location, this is the place for you. I highly recommend it, especially since the new manager came in. I have seen huge improvements, from the landscaping to the parking, and the Jacuzzi. It's within walking distance of the best that all of Boca Raton has to offer, such as beaches, golf, dining, etc. The new property manager is phenomenal in every sense of the word.
