Homeless people living in the building, management will keep your deposit
My wife and I read the reviews how they will find a way to charge for various things to keep your deposit, we went above and beyond to make sure the apartment was better than the way it was when it was handed over to us.
Never an apology or a care was given for the homeless that freely lived in the building because the security locks on the doors dont work, items were stolen from the gym, doors were chained closed in the lobby as a sort of prevention from the homeless. Ignoring the fact that in... the event of an emergency someone could be locked inside the building.
Construction on our building was supposedly complete when we viewed the apartment, moved in and found out well just the front half was done. The back half was still needing a fill lift because water was leaking in from the walls and around the windows and causing rot and mold.
The security gates never worked and people had free access into the parking lot, cars had been broken into, a wild pool party that attracted about 100 people from else where was able to happen. Police were called and what seemed more like a raid as people fled after consuming alcohol and drugs for hours at the party.
You pay a fee for the use of the package room, which since its not totally secured people would find their packages stolen or as the office calls it "misplaced". The police do nothing and the advice given is call the company you bought the item from and ask them to send you a new item. Made little sense to have to pay for my packages on 4 occasions go missing or missing into another persons home other than mine.
I will say that the maintenance team was good and may have been the staple to the property.
In short, you will get charged with fees to make sure they keep their deposit so dont do what I did and spend hours cleaning the place, from cleaning tubs, toilets, inside all the drawers to vacuuming the carpets several times. All the hard work to be a decent human will not help you save your deposit. Accept the pit falls and just enjoy the fact that you will one day be able to free yourself from them
