DO NOT RENT HERE
The Park at Veneto has *some* curb appeal, but that’s it. This was our first apartment in SWFL after relocating to the area. Let me tell you, it was the biggest mistake we ever made.
Here are just some of the issues that led to us terminating our lease early and nearly engaging in a legal battle with Blue Roc Premier, who owns the complex:
-the carpet had cigarette burns in it when we moved in
-the fridge had a punch dent in the side
-one bedroom door had a fist hole in it
-the AC constantly... failed because it would freeze up. The management (Maria) wouldn’t replace it
-The appliances are extremely outdated and bottom of the line
-despite pest control coming weekly, the building has a terrible bug infestation
-The pond has a terrible coating of blue/green algae
-the complex is infested with mean ducks
-No confer for cleanliness. Dumpster would overflow. Old furniture sitting out. Pet waste container overflowing.
Now there was one pro. Note the use of the word “was.” That would be rent. But like every other place in SWFL, rent has skyrocketed.
Bottom line: avoid this place at all costs.
