Contracts with despicable tow company

I am extremely disappointed with Hite Apartments due to their association with Target Towing. Target Towing changed retrieval charges multiple times, forced me to wait overnight in the dark and rain, and treated me with a complete lack of empathy. They seem to target vulnerable populations and my car was damaged in the process.

It's concerning that Hite Apartments contracts with such a predatory company. This reflects poorly on their commitment to tenant welfare. I urge them to...
reconsider this relationship and implement better contractor standards. Until then, I cannot recommend Hite Apartments.

WiFi Does not work

WiFi never works- and if it does, videos just buffer the entire time.

I attempted to mitigate the issue over 10 days ago to no avail so I am warning future customers- if you need reliable WiFi, don’t move here.

RENTER BEWARE!

Potential Renter experience. Renter BEWARE PRICE NOT AS ADVERTISED. Manager even checked their own site same time I checked site and they are seeing a different price than the public. Also staff doesn’t respond in timely fashion. I sent emails back and forth for 2 days asking them to call me. I finally called them. Then they schedule showing with you knowing rental you want is not available. Also insisted I use website to know what is available. This staff member did not know what was available... . I didn’t get good vibe. BE WARE..
Customer service was poor and staff was disingenuous and wasted my time. BEWARE!

I do not take this kind of feedback lightly so I certainly want to... ensure you feel heard and that this is resolved. As I remember and after digging into this with the team, much of this came down to an availability issue. I know that you were interested in a studio or one-bedroom but unfortunately, our only availability is not until September! With such limited availability and quick turnarounds with current residents renewing leases, there can sometimes be pricing discrepancies. We did attempt to communicate these with you but again, I wholeheartedly apologize that you still left feeling confused or frustrated. I would really love to hop on the phone at 813-235-0237 to chat about making this right. Regardless, thank you for considering HITE as a home and while we may not have received a full 5-star rating, we hope to be able to earn a higher rating from you in the future.

Not good if you work late

Loved it when I first moved in. Common areas are clean and well maintained but a little light on the amenities that you would expect in an apartment of this price range. Finishings in the apartment are tasteful and they are very pet friendly which is nice. Maintenance is quick to respond when ever you need anything.

Parking is an issue at HITE. I work late (get home around 9:30-10 each night) and there is never parking. Management says parking is not guaranteed but when you tour they will not...
let you know that. If there are no spots left, you need to park in the surrounding neighborhood and walk home. Which is not always the safest option when it’s late and you’re alone carrying a lot of stuff.

If you know that you will be home from work by 5:30 and won’t leave your apartment again - HITE is a fine place to live.

HITE was designed as a boutique-style community to give our residents a more private and less dense resident experience. This is something we try to explain in the leasing process as the character & feel of our community and if the parking part of this message was missed on your tour, I wholeheartedly apologize. While our community does offer a parking lot and covered parking options for our residents, we also monitor the lot and enforce policies to ensure that residents are not parking multiple vehicles per leaseholder within the lot. With us now being fully occupied, there are times the lot may be more full than others. You have asked to be placed on the waitlist for the garage and we will be contacting you as soon as a spot becomes available. That being said, your concerns are very important to me so I would love to talk further about this with you to ensure every issue or question is directly addressed and you continue to love calling HITE home.
