Finishes are nice, staff were friendly when we toured. After moving in we quickly realized it wasn't worth the costs.
Hidden fees, noisy, had roaches & floors are not insulated to absorb sound. Had you many sleepless nights!
Garbage is picked up at 1am & delivery for restaurant at 3 am. Rairly got more than 4 hours if good sleep. Better places in Columbus. So glad I only had a 6 month lease!

Swallowtail Flats is trouble: unresponsive staff, hidden fees, and an unwelcome furry resident - the rat, car robberies. Reaching them is a gamble: Forget getting help by phone. Half the time you'll be stuck in the after-hours message, even during business hours. And if you manage to get in person, they act clueless! Hidden fees: They promised a prorated rent for my final month, then slammed me with the full rent, an "early termination fee," and kept my security deposit. Rodent roommates: worst... of all was issues with rats! Their ineffective pest control team leaves poison for months in the kitchen, doing little to capture the actual problem. Swallowtail flats is definitely nice when you look at it from the outside. The many issues I’ve faced in the few months of being here are constant construction even on Saturday’s. Every time it storms the power seems to go out and working from home that can be a hastle. Lastly ROACHES. I am extremely clean, like don’t go to bed unless the house is spotless clean, for the first three months of living here there were no bugs then it’s like the flood gates opened or something because I found at... least two roaches every day for a week the exterminators came and then I found two dead roaches every day for weeks. Now it’s back to living roaches again. My wife and I lived here for one year (June '19 to '20), and it was by far our best apartment living experience to date. The staff are incredibly friendly, flexible, and quick to respond to resident requests. The amenities are generous and well-maintained, the package service is quick and convenient, and management is eager to help and never manufactures reasons to nickel-and-dime you.

Our apartment itself was beautiful, and although we might have heard a thump or two from upstairs every once... in a rare while, there wasn't a peep through the walls from the adjacent apartments-- making them the quietest units we've ever lived in.

As for location, Old Town is situated perfectly for convenience while still feeling removed from any traffic or bustle. Overall, we could not have been happier with our home. Highly recommended! (P.S. Our dog loved it too!) Read More

I came to tour an apartment at Swallowtail Flats. As soon as I walked in, the staff made me feel like I was already “home.” The staff was so friendly and full of information. They toured me in their model apartment and drove me around the property, and all I can say is that this property is gorgeous!!! They did not have an apartment with my dates of availability, so they recommended several other places. I truly loved this place!
