BEWARE OF THIS PLACE AND GP MANAGMENT!!

There is so much wrong with GP I don't know where to start. The day I moved in, the DEA raided a neighboring apartment related to gang activity. They advertised our unit as non-smoking but after signing the lease, (the wouldn't let me view the actual unit before signing) I was informed that it was a smoking building. Our disrespectful neighbors smoke inside constantly and it is affecting my daughter's health. They do not do background checks. I have had multiple stories from other tenants about... incidents of residents attempting to lure children. The apartments are in horrible shape. Even the updated units are hiding huge problems. The water supply is awful. They throttle your heat in the winter. Maintenance is poor at best. I don't know how GP doesn't have a class action suite yet but they probably will in the near future. STAY FAR AWAY FROM GP!!

decent apartment, terrible management.

I’ve lived at Deeplake for 5 years, and it’s been downhill since they fired their managers and run everything from an office in Lake Geneva Wisconsin. There’s pros and cons to this, for the most part, it’s really quiet and since Management has no idea what’s going, they won’t bother you. But the apartments (all but one) haven’t been updated in years. Most of the time they don’t clean them between new leasers. They threatened to evict residents for owning certain dog breeds, but simultaneously... tell other residents that those specific breeds are allowed. Just today they told all residents that they can no longer have satellite dishes (about half of the apartments use satellite) and gave a 2 week notice that they are removing everyone’s dishes. The grounds are nice, the apartments are spacious, but the laundry machines are always broken, and some buildings charge $1.25 per was and dry while other buildings charge $1.75. Management is aware, but hasn’t done anything about it for 3 years. All in all this is a decent and affordable place, close enough to anything you’ll need, but just set your expectations extremely low, and you’ll be fine.

Peaceful Living

I have lived here for 5 years now and I love it! From upper management to maintenance staff...everyone has been super friendly and helpful! I feel privileged to live on the back side of the property with a lake view right out my back door. My daughters have both grown up and will be away at college this Fall and I’ve had numerous people ask I plan on moving or downsizing to a smaller place and my answer is consistently no. I love it here!

What a wonderful place!

The staff here is top notch as well as the location.

All maintenance issues that I have ever had are taken care of immediately, and I can just text any issue that I have. I couldn't be happier.

The grounds are beautiful and well taken care of, and my apartment is lovely.

Great apartment living and staff

I lived at Deep Lakes Apartments from 2008 - 2013 and enjoyed all 5 years. Becky, the manager was always cordial and proficient. She made you feel welcome and comfortable. The maintenance guys, Rob and Zac were very professional. Anytime we needed anything done in the apartment, they were prompt and thorough. We never had to ask twice for anything.
