Do NOT rent here - not even as a last resort
Pros and Cons. The one Pro first. PRO - They will work with you. If you have a temporary issue - go to the rental office and speak to them (when you can catch them.) Now to the many CONS - If you are lucky enough to get the leasing agent on the phone when you FINALLY are able to rent there, you will get either a newer apt OR an old and I mean old apt. When we lived there we were promised a new one, then when we put the deposit down, were told it was rented, so we got an old apt. Cobwebs... in the cabinet, bathroom tore up from previous owner and this was on our move in day. We had mice for a while but then got a cat and that was solved. Very limited parking. If you are a two car family OR if you have people over - you will have to fight for one of the limited visitor spaces. One 'reserved' space per apt. There is ONE maintenance man and he is super nosy as are some of the neighbors. They are too much into every one's business. I understand a friendly neighborhood watch, but when you invite friends and family over anything, if the maintenance man is around he is going to ask them who they are and has he ever met them before and watch them go into your apartment. We lived in a unit where a neighbor would constantly sit on her balcony. It faced the front so you HAD to speak to her whenever you were going in and out. If you didn't speak then she would talk about you as you walked away. It was too awful. We had to leave.
