Great Place To Live

My 80 yr old dad came back to Michigan after being gone 25 yrs and moved into Mill Creek Apartments in Clio. It’s been close to a year and a half and he’s really happy here. The Manager is kind, helpful and spot on with repairs. The maintenance guy is great. The halls inside and around the building are kept clean. The apartment is nice size (2 bedrooms). He’s on the 3rd floor and literally can’t hear any neighbors. The bathroom floor and door could both use replacing but for the price, secure... area there are no complaints. Only really con is keeping up with people who don’t clean up their dogs mess outside. Most places it will result in an eviction after a warning or two. Overall, a good place to live.

Good Place, Affordable, Clean, And Safe.

About a year here, love it so far. Apartments are not fancy, but they and the property are maintained well. Maintenance is very quick, left for work with a broken A/C, came back to it running!

Pros:
-Affordable
-Safe area, I'm never afraid coming home from work
-Well lit parking area/hallways
- Cops do rounds in lots (also the department is right down the road!)
- Staff is friendly and easy to get ahold of
- Quiet, almost never hear neighbors. Can barely hear others vacuum of run garbage...
disposal
- Well maintained property, trees give feeling of privacy
- Fast maintenance response, on call available on weekends
- Well insulated
- Lots of storage in apartment
- Pool

CONS:
- Dated appliances/counters (I don't mind, they all work!)
- Small kitchen (Two people can fit if they don't need to move)
- Water bill is an average, not based off of individual use. Around $40
- The way the heating/cooling it set up, fruitflies can get in. Apple cider vinegar and a bit of dish soap will trap them.
- It says shower/bath, but it is more of a shower/splash pad. Too small for a bath!
- Quarterly filter changes, have to take everything out of main closet to get to furnace.
- No playground (I don't care, but families might not like this)

All in all, this is a nice safe apartment. Worth the money. I would recommend it to any of my family and friends
