Not what was implied.
Bought a new home from out of state. House is what was presented. At closing mid-september it was implied that the unfinished lot would be filled, leveled and seeded within a few weeks. A pile of dirt was left on my side yard for several weeks before I spread and leveled it by hand myself in November. The front half of the community presents very well. The back half is a slimy mud pit for the most part. The soil used for fill is a black muck like dirt with lots of clay which holds water well. I... had a cat using my yard for a litter box at night so I put down some landscaping timbers and began to fill the space with small river stone I was buying and hauling a bag at a time. A resident told me to ask to have some of the stone stored on the property put in by maintenance with their little ditch witch machine. That request was refused. Community management has made a lot of excuses why nothing is getting done but the fact is nothing is getting done to improve the situation for these newly located and sold homes. Be careful and get everything in writing with real deadlines is my advice.
