Heritage Park East

I wasn't going to write a review, but the false pictures made me so frustrated that I had to say something:
Most of the units do NOT look like the pictures on this site. This place is bottomline, bare, and basic. The cabinets are falling apart and the carpet is threadbare. Whe I moved in the place was not cleaned and there was paint all over the carpet. Management told me it would not come out of my security deposit when I moved in, but they somehow forgot they said that when I ask if the… carpet could maybe be replaced during our resigning. I suppose we'll see when I move out if they try to charge me. The black mold has destroyed one of my dressers; the laundry room overflowed and leached under the wall into my bedroom. I had to scrub the walls with beach, but they are stained black, as well as that area of the floor. I am no stranger to black mold because it's common in Michigan, but this mold made my dresser swell and all the cardboard boxes next to the wall were black and soggy - this is in a bedroom by the way. The linoleum in the kitchen was just laid over old, dirty linoleum (you can see it because the floor peels). They only have a couple maintenance staff for the grounds, and little gets done unless you have an easy fix, emergency, or beg Management. Anything like a cabinet or kitchen appliance will not be fixed due to COVID
apparently. I have been waiting on appliance replacements since 2021, but Management can never get two maintenance staff together to do it - it's been over 6 months. At least Management is nice, that's why there are two starts, not one. Read More

Unfair policy, floors squeaking, I don't recommend.

heritage is a nice place to live most the time when there,a problem they come same day to fix it.the staff is always friendly when they seen you or when come fix a problem

Heritage Parks East is a nice small apartment community! It's a quiet place, and each unit has great space! The prices are too good to pass up! The only unfortunate thing about the complex is that the waiting list is very long. Sometimes you just won't be able to get a unit on the month you need to. But honestly, I love this place and environment. The staff is extremely kind and easy to talk to!
