Noisy
This apartment complex will be an unhappy place and a total disappointment for anyone who appreciates quiteness and peacefulness at their property especially if there is someone living upstairs of you. I have someone living above me who wanders inside his unit with a bare foot and I hear all yes all of his steps in my ear as he walks. Floor in between units or walls again in between units are extremely low soundproof and if you end up on a unit with a noisy neighbor, a dog in some instances or... anyone that does not have the culture of living in a such community, then game over as you will start counting the months remaining on your lease like in my case. I personally will follow a strategy of renting a unit which I could have a friend tour the upstairs plan and walk it, while I listen to him walking and performing activities just like in everyday life at one’s own property. I will also make sure the side units are toured as well for the same purpose. Well, yes, ideally I will lease a topmost plan and/or a corner unit as long as I could afford it. Management either from here in the building or someone in the corporate has responded my review about a few days to a week ago mentioning into the noise and that they will look at it but nothing has happened so far except for the upstairs person has violently continued his walking pattern with bare foot and no carpets in his unit. Bedrooms will come carpeted but even that does not actually help with the soundproof especially if the person above you does not care or is insensitive. I started to live in my unit with ear plugs in the last two weeks which helps some. I have around 4 months left in my lease and what actually hurts is that although I asked the management to continuously talk about this issue with my neighbor so habits can be changed or at least somewhat kept under control, that never happened as far as I can tell. If you still end up in these apartments, good luck with your new place especially if you thought this would be a good experience for you.
