Good place, comfortable space
These townhomes are very comfortable. The houses are well insulated and hold heat well in the winter and stay cool in the summer. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, which is very nice, especially for career focused individuals.
The maintenance man is very kind and quick to handle issues you may have. The property manager Heather is responsive and helpful. She quickly answers any questions you have, and is always working to make sure you feel accommodated, even when she has a very busy... week. She is very empathetic and understanding. You can tell she is a genuinely good person, and she’s good at her job.
A few things that made me only give 3 stars (relatively minor, and mostly stood out to me because of what you pay to live here):
The sprinklers go off constantly in the summer. There are a lot of them, some of which are positioned so that your driveway is a direct target in addition to the lawn so your car will constantly have hard water spots on it if you park outside the garage. Depending which home you get, standing water even collects in the driveway, making parking limited unless you want to stand ankle deep in water getting in and out of the car.
Your garbage cans have to be inside your garage at all times except the small window of garbage day. The purpose of this is due to how windy it gets, which is understandable; it does get very windy. But keeping the garbage cans inside the garage will make the interior of your vehicle, and your garage as a whole, smell like garbage. Sometimes, depending on what kind of garbage week you had, it can make the downstairs of the unit smell when you open the garage door. Considering the appeal of a garage is to keep your car stored there, and the price you pay to have a garage as an amenity, you’d think you’d have the additional option to store the garbage elsewhere if needed.
Overall, I’m glad we live here, and for us the pros outweigh the cons at this time.
