Terrible Units & Management
This place is overpriced for the units they are offering. You can't control when the AC heat is turned on, you can hear your neighbors through the walls and current management recently got rid of the utility packages so that they could charge based on usage (which is impossible for a high-rise without individual meters). If you sign here be prepared to pay more for less.

Excellence in Management
My favorite place I've rented from In the Twin Cities. Close enough to the action, but not too far removed!
Beautifully put together complex with great amenities to complement! The apartments themselves are elegantly styled and have the BIGGEST walk in closets in any rental I've seen.
But above all, the management team of Heidi and Landon put this place above all. Their care for the residents goes above and beyond you'd expect of someone in their position. They made living here, especially... during the pandemic, an absolute joy.

Poor Management
I have lived in The Shoreham since it first opened and have watched the management steadily decline. The original management team was amazing (Kathy & Nathan) - friendly, personable, and went out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Since their new team started, I have had nothing but bad experiences. Firstly, they made a mistake on my lease and have been less than helpful getting it sorted out. Good luck EVER getting a hold of the property manager, Heidi. She is impossible to reach by phone... or email. Most recently, I had a leasing agent unlock and walk into my apartment home to show it to a stranger while I was home WITHOUT notifying me of a showing, and have yet to hear back from Heidi after notifying her of the intrusion. There is a clear lack of communication between management and staff, and I would highly recommend living elsewhere. Not to mention, the construction was done poorly and the finishing touches inside of the units are very cheap and fall apart more every day. I am not one to write negative reviews but feel as though potential leasers need to be warned. I am eagerly awaiting the end of my lease.

Property Manager at The Shoreham Apartments responded to this review
I would like to apologize for your most recent experience and sorry to hear you were less than satisfied with our office team. We pride ourselves on our apartments and the high quality standards we maintain. Per our email exchange yesterday, I went... into further details about your concerns and guarantee you, that is will not happen again. Thank you for sharing your concerns. Sincerely, Heidi

Not Worth It
The apartments themselves are nice. The building claims "dog friendly" but makes it difficult for dog owners to let their dogs out with signs stating "NO DOGS ON THE GRASS" surrounding the building. The pet stations are inconveniently placed and far away from entrances, so the idea that dogs can mindfully hold it until in a "designated pet area" while outside, is unrealistic.
The old management was very personable and inviting, and planned community events for the building that had great turn... outs. In January the management team turned over and the new management is insincere and rude. They have come in trying to overhaul everything that was done before, including the things that were done well. We loved it here before the management switched over, and now we are looking to move out when our lease is up.
I would not recommend moving here, it is not worth the money for a place that inconveniences residents and doesn't even know your name.

Avoid this place
Made a terrible mistake of choosing The Shoreham. The apartments themselves are nice but that is about it. For the price they are charging you can do much better elsewhere. Can't wait until our lease is up.
