Woodlake Downs

I lived in this apartment complex for year and it was the WORST. The management is totally rude, unresponsive and doesn't give a darn about the residents. They will charge you for damages even if you have proof that you didn't cause them. I was charged for new blinds even though I had replaced the damaged ones myself. I showed them the pictures of the new blinds, but they still refused to refund me. The carpet was also damaged when I moved in, but the management refused to do anything about it.… I told them about the damage when I moved in, but they said it wasn't their problem. The maintenance crew have this habit of wandering into our apartments when we weren't around. This is totally messed up and makes me feel unsafe in my own home. One time, I was chillin' at home when a maintenance worker just strolled in without a care in the world and stayed all day. I had to tell him to leave after 6 pm. So, if you're thinking about living in this apartment complex, I'd give it a hard pass. Yeah, at first glance, the price might look tempting, but trust me, they'll sneak in all these crazy charges while you're there and then stick you with unnecessary fees when you try to move out. Old buildings, pest problems & poor management. They will treat you well to lure you in the beginning and start treating you badly afterwards. Only good thing is the location.
