The Brownstones at Englewood South

There's a lot to love about living here. We have nice things. Mostly. However, some nice things are in visible disrepair--blinds in the gym, a leak in the gym, busted lamps on the fencing around the pool, a garage door left permanently open for months in the wake of some theft in other buildings, scaffolding over the retail areas that has been up for a year--yes, these things need repair and could happen to any complex. But the longer they look busted, the more some people will feel they don't... have to take care of stuff. That they can leave their trash or poop around, that they can take over common areas and abuse them, that they can break into restricted areas or allow access to non-residents to our amenities. "If the complex doesn't care about keeping things nice, I won't either." I think the complex is better than that, but that's not the image that's projected. The Brownstones is a great community. Wonderful amenities and neighbors. I have lived her for 5 years and have always been satisfied.

We recently moved to The Brownstones from the city, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. It's such a calm, peaceful community with a welcoming atmosphere. Our neighbors have been friendly, the staff has been kind and helpful, and it's exactly the change of pace we were looking for. The community is well maintained, and the overall vibe is relaxed and inviting. We're really enjoying calling The Brownstones home and look forward to making many great memories here!

I’ve really enjoyed living in this community. The property is clean, quiet, and well maintained. The office staff is always friendly, professional, and willing to help whenever I have questions. Maintenance requests are handled quickly, and the common areas are kept in great condition. I also appreciate how safe and peaceful the neighborhood feels. Very clean. However, wish there were more space for parking. Parking is always limited with commercial and construction vehicles. Plus, towing is very strict which makes it hard for residents.
