New owners and management 1/15/21 I’ve renewed my lease twice already.
This is a good property that continues to improve everyday under new ownership and property management.The property sold and began being managed by Engel Realty January 15th, 2020. Prior to that it was managed by CSC and there were a lot of problems from poor management to renovations that used cheap materials that didn't last. Overnight living at Sage Canyon improved under Engel Realty management. The new manager Ned is very polite, professional, and doesn't lie to you. Julio the Maintenance... Manager is also very nice and approachable. He uses good materials, not just the cheapest and makes the repair the first time. Engel Realty has been re-renovating apartments that CSC had renovated less than a year before. Now at Sage Canyon the advertised hardwood floors are individual vinyl plank flooring, not the linoleum that looks like hardwood and rips moving your couch in. Ned and Julio first thing fixed the front gate properly and now it doesn't get stuck open once a week for 2 or 3 days at a time. Another thing done right under Engel Realty is they fixed the pool even though they couldn't open it in 2020 due to Covid-19 restrictions. CSC didn't open the pool in 2019 until the weekend after 4th of July and then closed it for two weeks less than a month later. Ned and Julio under Engel Realty have turned this place around and are the reason I've renewed my lease twice now to stay at Sage Canyon apartments. Great location just inside Los Ranchos and across the street from Smiths and a Planet Fitness. Decent size apartments and they all have gas furnaces and water heaters as well as refrigerated A/C. I can keep my apartment at 65 degrees easy when it's 90 plus degrees outside. Nice fenced in yards with first floor apartments perfect if you have a dog. I highly recommend taking a tour and meeting Ned and Julio.
