The woman named Avina in the front is lovely and manages is friendly however it doesn’t appear as though they are effective nor have the tools to address basic tenant challenges. Only how to collect rent.

I usually don't write reviews, but I have never experienced such poor management at any apartment complex in the valley until I lived at Escena. If you want to be dealing with collections 3 months after you move out on a debt they reported, but you don’t even owe, then this is the place.
I lived in a 1-bedroom unit for over a year without issue. However, everything fell apart when I tried to move to a 3-bedroom apartment. The process was a complete mess, involving constant back-and-forth with... the assistant manager and various leasing agents.
- They told me they don’t provide leases until MOVE-IN day—something I’ve never encountered before
- And then said I wouldn’t be able to move in until 2 PM.
On move-in day, I still didn’t have a lease, and no one had checked on the apartment for the entire month leading up to my move. It had plumbing issues, which they tried to push aside, offering me a different apartment on the east side as a solution.
I decided not to move in and they sent me a final account notice of almost $1,000 which was incorrect. Turns out they owed me a refund BUT they sent that original account balance to collections. They are unresponsive and unprofessional, leaving me stuck with a debt I shouldn't even owe.
What really frustrated me was the lack of communication and poor customer service. I tried to address concerns about overcharges from the automated rent system and getting a lease, but I was always told to "give them more time" and to "be patient." The staff’s passive-aggressive attitude only added to the frustration. They didn’t seem to understand that this is not just a property for me—it's my home.
I would strongly advise anyone considering living here to look elsewhere. The management is a nightmare, and the stress is not worth it. Save yourself the trouble.

Office staff are very friendly and helpful. Escena is a nice gated community with a plethora of fun events throughout the week.

Honestly would not recommend any one to live here due to management not knowing about any situations going on in complex. Complex appliances not being fixed when transferring from one apartment to another. Not giving discount on families who have lived here for years is wild to me.I can honestly say past two years have been the worst experience

Escena is great rental area. They’ll make sure you’re comfortable until you end up leaving the nest and finding your eventually forever home. Great place for solo or little families
