The floors and ceilings are paper thin. You can hear literally everything happening above and below you; from a normal conversation to loud music. Large, loud parties are hosted in many apartments late into the night. Parking lots are always crowded with children and adults running in the middle of the road. Constant maintenance issues with the apartment, but the maintenance staff is friendly and helpful. Management is very condescending, dismissive, and rude when approached with issues in the... apartment. They do not communicate solutions well at all. Worst apartment we’ve ever lived in!

Applewood Acres
Applewood Acres is fairly nice place to live. Most of the neighbors that live in the same bldg are friendly but some especially if they live above you and have kids and/or a dog can be rude by letting their kids physically run all over apartment which can be rather noisy and when they go homeowner's they leave their dog locked in homeroom to howl all day long. I have been after the complex manager to get our carpets overstretched or replaced for over a year. It took over a year to get our... kitchen sink replaced. The complex is close to the malls and grocery stores and is in one of the best school districts in the state. But because of the maintenance problems and the fact they raise the rent every year my wife and I will be looking for a new place to live. So if I win this the money will be used to move.
