It's what's inside that counts
- I've been here for about 5 years. - The residents are of various ethnicities and ages and they're generally quiet. - The grounds are kept relatively clean with two exceptions. 1)There are two identical apartment buildings on the lot, but only one dumpster. The sanitation truck only dumps what,s in the dumpster, so if there was overflow or bags off to the side, they'll stay there until maintenance cleans them up. It would be great if they had a second dumpster and if maintenance made a habit of... checking the area on days the that the trash pickup is scheduled. 2)Their idea of snow clearing leaves a lot to be desired. - The place is close to just about everything you need. Mercy Suburban Hospital is less than 5 minutes away and Einstein is about 8. In 15 minutes or less (mostly less) you can reach 9 markets including Whole Foods, two Latino markets (one has a bounty of produce) and an Asian market; big box and home stores like Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Lowes, Home Depot, and IKEA; a bunch of strip malls w/ useful stores and Plymouth Meeting and King of Prussia (on a good day); and fast(ish) food like McDonalds, Chik-fil-a, Burger King, Arby's, Starbucks, Applebees, and Pizza Hut/Taco Bell. There are three Wawas nearby, but the closest one is 7 minutes away in Bridgeport. Gas station and Rita's right across the street. It's right off 202, only 5 minutes from Germantown Pike, and only 7-8 minutes from the turnpike and 476. - My energy bill is about $77 and my water/sewage bill, which is paid as an additional fee with rent, is less than $50. - No real pest issues, but from May to September/October, you'll occasionally see thousand-leggers. Maybe once a week, if that. - Decent storage through out. The walk-in closet can just about fit two full size mattresses end to end (i haven’t tried, that’s just for comparison). The kitchen cabinets can’t really accommodate the height of a Kitchenaid mixer. All the windows have deep sills. Big window in BR & LR. Electric range/oven. Double sink w/ disposal. Wired for Comcast & Verizon. Sprint's signal is iffy. - Except for the things I pointed out, this is a pretty good place to live. The property management company is pretty decent and they have the occasional community event. Also, they have several communities around the country, so if you need to move, transferring to another one is pretty easy. Bonus! You can interact with them all online; like paying rent, renewing your lease, and scheduling maintenance
