horrible experience
Avoid 257 Thayer Street at all costs. This property has been an absolute nightmare, and I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. First and foremost, my belongings were stolen while I lived here, and the management did absolutely nothing to help or take responsibility. There is zero accountability, no sense of urgency to address tenant concerns, and clearly no investment in ensuring basic security measures are in place. It’s appalling how little they care about the safety and well-being of... their tenants.
The property itself is disgustingly dirty. Common areas are rarely, if ever, cleaned properly. Trash piles up, and there’s a general sense of neglect everywhere you look. The apartments themselves are poorly maintained, with constant issues that the management either ignores or delays fixing for weeks. When you do finally get a response, it’s full of empty promises that never amount to any real solutions.
The management is completely untrustworthy. They lie, they dodge accountability, and they act as if tenants are an inconvenience rather than paying customers. Communication is awful, with requests often going unanswered for days or even weeks. If something serious happens, like theft or a major maintenance issue, don’t expect them to take it seriously or provide any meaningful support.
To make matters worse, the living environment is unsanitary and unsafe. You’re essentially paying high rent to deal with constant stress, frustration, and a complete lack of professionalism. I’ve rented other properties before, and this one is by far the worst I’ve ever experienced.
Save yourself the headache, the money, and the heartache – do NOT rent at 257 Thayer Street. It’s not worth the risk to your belongings, your health, or your sanity.
