our washing machine was broken for three weeks, maintenance came three separate times before finally fixing it. we sent multiple emails and called everyday, we either got no answer or the same response "maintenance has other work orders that take priority." the first time they came they flipped the breaker and left, we went to use it the same day and it was still broken...shocker. the second time they came they took it apart some and told us they'd order a new one. a week went by before they... came to replace it. when they did, they didn't turn the water on properly so water leaked from the back of the washer. they came back after a day to fix it and was very rude. while our washer was broken, they gave us keys to a "vacant" unit but when we got there it was clear someone was living there. they never gave us keys to another unit after that. we also never received our rent credit for the following month on time despite multiple calls and in-person conversations.

Keeps raising the rent over time. Maintenance doesn’t really help or fix nothing. A lot of things were broken as I moved in. This place just really sucks

Honestly, living at The Roost has been frustrating from the jump. The management is slow to respond, and when they do, it feels like nothing actually gets fixed. Maintenance requests take way too long, and you end up having to follow up multiple times just to get basic issues handled.
The place looks decent at first, but once you’ve been here a bit, you start noticing the lack of upkeep. For the price, it’s definitely not worth it. Parking can be a headache, and the overall environment just... isn’t as comfortable or well-managed as they make it seem when you first tour.
If you’re thinking about moving here, I’d seriously consider other options before committing. It’s just not the quality you’d expect for what you’re paying.
