Poor Tenant Care
My AC has been down for over a week now. I put in the original service request 10 days ago to fix the issue while vacationing but returned two days later to the same problem.
The first request was promptly dismissed as resolved and since I have put in additional requests stating that the AC is still not operating. Multiple calls to the office have proven futile as I am always directed to leave a voice mail but have not received a call back to even acknowledge the issue. I have a visitor in... town who stays at my apartment while I am working and she has told me that the temperature on the thermostat has read 80+ degrees on multiple occasions the past few days. I reluctantly asked her to go down to the leasing office yesterday to inquire about the problem and they insured her that I would receive a call today with a solution to the problem. I received no such call. The excuse from the leasing office was that the maintenance guy was off yesterday but I am curious about the other nine days.
I feel like this is not only an embarrassment to Almaville Apartment Homes, but also myself. Tomorrow is Friday 4/14 and the regular maintenance crew is off on the weekends. I am pleading to have someone out to fix the AC tomorrow. In the off chance that this happens I may consider changing my review.
*I would also like to note that the leasing office has reached out to me not too long ago about renewing my lease. I am paying good money for this apartment and do not appreciate being ignored.
