Mission on Ascension Homes

I am just coming to the end of an 18 month lease and plan to renew. The owners brought their own manager back to the property a few months ago and removed the previous external mgt company. A huge improvement, Ashley is fantastic.

The property is well designed and all construction has been completed.
Having a Kroger next to the property is a huge advantage.
All units come with an enclosed garden with high fences perfect for kids or pets.
The property is roughly two years old and has the... latest tech and A/C. The air con be controlled with an app so you can adjust the heat before you leave for home. This property is suited for someone (a family) who is not ready to buy but does not want an apartment especially if they have kids.

If I knew management was going to be this, I wouldn’t have signed the lease. Every time we go to the office during their new hours which is W/Sun: closed, and M/T/Th/F/S: 9-12, 1-5, they are never there!! Like ever!! We still don’t have our mail key, the dumpster has been overflowing for weeks. The only thing they managed to get was an extra trash container. HOWEVER, the residents have been the ones to clean the overflow and put all the trash in the container. The front gate has also been broken... for weeks. So, if you feel secure, you’re not. There’s no communication whatsoever. You try calling and no answer from the office ever. If they answer, you’re lucky! Email is useless as well even though they say they prefer email. This place is awful. Living in a construction zone for months, car broken into, nails in tires, no amenities open since day one, gates don’t work, revolving door with management, AC broken, and poor communication. Place is crazy overpriced for what you get!

Big shout out to Michele, the property manager; she is super kind and helpful. Michele was very patient with us during the application process and answered our questions. We literally came twice a week to see the home we were moving into for three weeks. Michele never denied us a tour. Michele is the true definition of customer service.
She is always responsive to issues, addresses concerns efficiently, and follows up to ensure we are happy! Michele is knowledgeable about the community and all... the homes on the property. The staff is friendly and attentive to our needs. Dillan, the maintenance guy, is phenomenal. The Mission on Ascension is a beautiful place to call home. The grounds and the homes are beautiful. And I love coming home to my new cozy, beautiful home. Mission on Ascension is the best community I have ever lived in. I highly recommend this community as a place to call home.
